Winter is Back!

Finally we got some more pretty white stuff!! The Girls went sledding, snowboarding and snowmobiling today! No one would ride with D.O.D (dear old dad) In the plow truck except the dog. Judy did have to come to the rescue with the suburban and a tow strap as I got a bit overzealous pushing snow banks up and got the blade hung up in one! Very wet, heavy& slippery stuff we have gotten in the last 24 hrs. Approximately 10 to 12 inches of accumulation!!

All is pretty again (Mother Nature put on another spectacular show).

Evening Capper!

Merry Christmas all! Beej here!!!! (don't fall over, I post at least once every 2 yrs!)

We finished our holiday off this evening by video chatting with my Brothers and Family including Josh, Leann & Ethan (we saw but didn't hear Zeus) As well as youngest brother James! It was great to see and hear from All of you! (Ethan napped thru the whole ordeal even while Megan and Erin screeched and squealed). What a great way to keep in touch! Remember the days when long distance phone calls on the holidays were run like 2 minute drills? say it fast and pass the phone to the next family member!!! Lets not forget the funny looks from Mom and Dad when you got too chatty!!! I'll take todays communication vs. yesteryears. Hope all who read this have had a wonderful Christmas! Merry Christmas!!

We started our celebrations on Friday and travelled to Lansing. We moved in (including Katrina)for 4 days at Granma Sharen's aka Granma Sweet Pea where the girls have their own room with bunk beds!! Granma had a new
webcam and high speed so we got to chat with Uncle Josh and Aunt Leann and see cutie Baby Ethan.
The girls also loved seeing the doggies Zeus, Raja and Riley!

On Saturday we went to Grammie and Grampie's house where we were joined by Uncle Shaun, Auntie Amanda, Uncle Jimmy, Auntie C, cousins Kaitlyn and Kameron and Great Granma! We had presents, dinner and then went to Potter Park zoo to see the Wonderland of Lights, Santa and a few furry friends!














Sunday was Granpa Dave and Granma Betty house.Cousin Kyle was there too on leave from the Navy's Water Rescue program. He amazed us with stories of some of his recent training methods! We had fun going out to dinner at Mongolian Barbecue where you create your own meat and veggie bowls.

Phew!! So many people, so little time...Christmas Eve we travelled back home since Bryan is the tech on call for Christmas.

I found this countdown days ago but just now was able to access Blogger and post after not using it for such a long time! Where does the time go????
